We are absolutely thrilled to share some exciting news: Michael Dance has been promoted to Director at HTA, effective 1 January 2026.
Michael’s journey with HTA has been marked by steady growth, genuine curiosity and a work ethic that has quietly set the standard for those around him. Since joining us in 2019, he has become a trusted adviser and thoughtful leader who brings clarity, care and consistency to every client and team interaction.
From early in his career, Michael had his sights set on becoming a partner. As he shared, when he first entered the industry, he admired the way a Partner at his previous firm carried himself and knew that was a role he wanted to grow into. Every experience, challenge and client interaction from that point became part of working toward that goal.
His progression at HTA reflects exactly that mindset. Michael has helped guide his advisory team from a small group to a strong, high-performing team and has played an important role in shaping the advisory space as HTA has grown. His leadership style is calm, grounded and quietly influential a combination that has earned the respect of both clients and colleagues.
