The Role:
As an Intermediate Accountant at HTA, you will:
- Prepare financial statements, income tax returns and activity statements.
- Prepare management reports that add real value to clients and allow them to make better business decisions.
- Prepare CGT and FBT calculations for review
- Work with a diverse client base across a broad range of industry sectors.
- Work in a team reporting directly to the Partner.
- Participate in Business Development activities and networking events.
Experience and Qualities We’re Looking For:
- 3+ years of experience in public practice
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting
- CA or CPA in progress or complete
- Strong knowledge of taxation & superannuation legislation
- Willingness to learn and develop your financial craft
- A love for technology
- Xero certification with an understanding of payroll
- Strong client service skills
