REPORTS TO: Business Manager – Commercial

HTA is seeking an experienced and proactive HR Coordinator to join our team on a 12-month maternity leave contract. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on HR coordination, thrives in a professional services environment, and is passionate about supporting people, culture, and compliance.

Reporting to the Business Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring our people processes run smoothly, efficiently, and in line with legislative and business requirements.

The Role:

As HR Coordinator, you will support the full employee lifecycle and contribute to a positive workplace experience across the business.

As a key member of our team, you will:

  • Coordinate end-to-end recruitment processes and support hiring managers

  • Manage onboarding and exiting of employees, ensuring a seamless experience

  • Support performance management and review processes

  • Coordinate staff training, including scheduling, tracking, and maintaining records

  • Manage employee leave requests and maintain accurate records

  • Maintain employee records and ensure HR compliance

  • Assist with the review and maintenance of HR and workplace policies

  • Support Workplace Health & Safety (OHS) compliance, documentation, and training records

  • Coordinate team events and initiatives that support engagement and culture

  • Respond to general HR queries with professionalism and discretion

What We’re Looking For

You are a professional Associate Adviser with:

  • A degree in Human Resources
  • Previous experience in an HR Coordinator, HR Administrator, or similar role

  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail

  • Sound understanding of HR processes, employment legislation, and compliance

  • Comfortable handling confidential information with professionalism

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite

  • Proactive, approachable, and people-focused
