HTA is seeking an experienced and proactive HR Coordinator to join our team on a 12-month maternity leave contract. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on HR coordination, thrives in a professional services environment, and is passionate about supporting people, culture, and compliance.
Reporting to the Business Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring our people processes run smoothly, efficiently, and in line with legislative and business requirements.

The Role:
As HR Coordinator, you will support the full employee lifecycle and contribute to a positive workplace experience across the business.
As a key member of our team, you will:
Coordinate end-to-end recruitment processes and support hiring managers
Manage onboarding and exiting of employees, ensuring a seamless experience
Support performance management and review processes
Coordinate staff training, including scheduling, tracking, and maintaining records
Manage employee leave requests and maintain accurate records
Maintain employee records and ensure HR compliance
Assist with the review and maintenance of HR and workplace policies
Support Workplace Health & Safety (OHS) compliance, documentation, and training records
Coordinate team events and initiatives that support engagement and culture
Respond to general HR queries with professionalism and discretion
What We’re Looking For
You are a professional Associate Adviser with:
- A degree in Human Resources
Previous experience in an HR Coordinator, HR Administrator, or similar role
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
Sound understanding of HR processes, employment legislation, and compliance
Comfortable handling confidential information with professionalism
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
Proactive, approachable, and people-focused
