Can you share what Auto Tech is all about and the services you offer?
The Auto Tech Group (Auto Tech Malvern, Auto Tech Malvern East, Auto Tech Canterbury & BM Tech) offer total servicing and repair for late model, prestige vehicles. BM Tech is a brand specialist for BMW, MINI, Audi & Volkswagen, whereas the Auto Tech branded workshops offer services to all late model brands
Could you tell us about your journey so far? What key milestones or strategies have been pivotal in your businesses success?
Since 1998, when we initially operated in Malvern as Malvern Auto Tech, we have expanded, developed & rebranded. In 2003, 2016 & 2023 we expanded under the Auto Tech brand in Glen Iris (Auto Tech Malvern), Malvern East & Canterbury, and BM Tech in Canterbury. We joined HTA in 2022, which has been a key partnership and assisted us with our succession planning & development strategy. Our aligned thinking regarding multifaceted growth has been a key to our improvement.
What sets Auto Tech apart from other mechanics in the area, and what aspects of your service do your clients appreciate the most?
We are heavily client relationship focused, often looking after the vehicles of entire families as a result. If people are happy to trust us with the vehicles of their children, we know we are doing something right. We invest in the latest technical equipment, as well as the highest levels of training for our entire staff cohort, from our 1st year apprentices through to our management team.
What advice would you give to other businesses looking to achieve similar success?
